As a member of the PARSUK executive board, I secured funding from the British Council to develop this research project. As the project Principal Investigator (PI), I had the opportunity to design the research while conducting interviews with EU academics in the UK, leading the team of two research analysts, and taking care of the project management responsibilities.

 

I had the opportunity to report and work closely with British Council Research team members based in the EU and abroad while reporting to the project's advisory board (PARSUK, FERN UK, Polonium Foundation). You can read more about the outputs in the Research section.

PARSUK (Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the UK) is a network that promotes the integration, collaboration, and development of Portuguese students and researchers in the UK through events, conferences and initiatives.

The European Innovation Academy (EIA) is an intensive entrepreneurship study abroad program that provides participants with the resources, connections, and mentoring necessary to build a successful startup in 15 days. Our idea is to reduce waste-based pollution by creating an app-based community and crowdsourcing litter collection and data insights on litter hot spots that otherwise might get overlooked.
